Sorry for being MIA for a while; I’ve been uninspired.
While the holidays bring a ton of yummy food, I tried to be good. I was very good on Thanksgiving, but horrible on Christmas Eve.
Between the pear crunch (my late grandma’s recipe made by me [I’m the only one she gave the recipe to]), corn pudding (my recipe), and the mud pie (my sister-in-law’s recipe), I probably gained at least 5lbs. I didn’t look.
My before Christmas Eve weight on 12/23 was 143.7lbs. I finally weighed myself again on 12/29 and weighed 144.9lbs. Then again on 12/31 and weighted 143.8lbs. So it looked like I had gone back down, but I weighed myself this past weekend (1/14) and weighed 145lbs flat. I’m hoping I went up this past weekend because of my period and nothing else.
I’m still on Mounjaro 10, but I’m thinking of asking to switch to Wygovi (the only one I haven’t tried yet). I’m worried my body has gotten used to the Mounjaro and that’s why I’ve stopped losing weight.
I’m still exactly 10lbs to go before my pre-medication weight gain and 20lbs from my goal.
How are you all doing? I’m feeling a bit defeated.
