Weigh-in Fail ☹️

A little bit of a failure this weekend- I went from 148.2lbs to 148.9lbs, which is totally not the end of the world, but it is still a little bit discouraging. In total, that’s a gain of .7lbs, not even a full pound.

I know I messed up with food last week. I hyper-fixated on hotdogs 🌭 and baked beans, which I had almost every night. Plus I had Taco Bell 🌮 this weekend. I’m betting that the baked beans were the biggest culprit because they are packed full of calories but so good. In regard to the Taco Bell, I don’t think that did too much because I’ve had that cheat meal before and it didn’t do anything. I only ate two soft shell tacos, although I did have a monster-size large Pepsi (which was well worth it in my opinion). I’ve also had quite a bit of ice cream 🍨🫣.

I’m getting back on track this week and switching back to my tried-and-true grilled chicken 🍗 and sweet potatoes 🍠. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but I’ve really grown tired of it. The chicken is from a local Italian place- sold raw and cooked on our BBQ- it is a mango coconut marinade which is really good. I was originally dipping it in ketchup but got super tired of that and have switched to dipping it in apple sauce, which I know sounds weird, but don’t knock it until you try it! It’s actually really good and less sugar than ketchup!

Here’s to getting back on track and hopefully losing 3lbs this week. It’s a big goal, but aim for the stars 🌟 I guess!
